Proposed Redistricting Maps

This evening, the Virginia General Assembly released proposed congressional redistricting maps that the people will likely have a chance to vote on in April. I want to be clear: my commitment to this race does not change.

Whether the referendum passes in April or not, I will continue running in Virginia First Congressional District. I currently live in the First Congressional District and if the referendum passes, I will be drawn into the new First Congressional District. This district is my home.

I’m running because I love my community. I love Virginia. And I love this country enough to fight for it.

This campaign has never been about lines on a map. It’s about the people who live here—the families, veterans, caregivers, workers, and small business owners who deserve representation that listens, shows up, and delivers.

I will keep fighting for the people. As a veteran, a foster parent and a firefighter's wife, I see every day how our systems are failing the people they're supposed to serve. My mission to put the people first, my commitment to lead with integrity and my resolve to do the right thing, remains unchanged and undeterred.

Service never stops—and neither do we.
